Who was Roy Kerridge? I found this letter from 1985. I must have written to him at the Spectator. I must have sent him a cheque. But why? Who are these people he is writing about.
I did find an obituary of him which makes for interesting reading.
He never did write back to me. What was the situation with Louise and baby Chantelle?
Sorting through boxes of old letters is a fascinating task. But I have too many. Many too many.
But I may share some others soon.

Interesting – perhaps the issue of Private Eye referred to has more information about this case, and perhaps too there is something relevant in the files of the magazine. The wording suggests to me something about.custody of children / children in care of the local council.
